If you’re interested in booking officiant services, simply send us an email at weddings@appliedhumor.com with your name, email (if you prefer one different from the one you used), phone number, and the date and location of the wedding. We’ll check the schedule and get back to you with a detailed questionnaire and follow up with at least one meeting to discuss your preferences and how to make your wedding ceremony a truly unique and engaging experience. We require a 50% deposit to reserve your date, and that deposit is fully refundable up until two months before the wedding date. However, if you’re canceling within two months of your wedding date, losing this deposit is likely the least of your worries.

As part of our promotion at the Birmingham Bridal & Wedding Expo, we are offering our services for $500 + expenses for a limited time only. Expenses include travel costs beyond a 1-hour driving distance each way from the Birmingham area. We charge half the mileage rate allowed by the IRS, and will provide a written estimate in advance. Other expenses would include specialty items required for your ceremony like the cost of renting an Elvis costume or a Samurai Sword. I don’t know why a Samurai Sword might be required at a wedding ceremony, but that sounds like a kick-ass event.
